Locust Grove Elementary School SY 2024-2025 Consolidated School Improvement Plan

Mission: 

Through communication and collaborative effort with all stakeholders, we will provide rigorous and relevant instruction to establish life-long learners and critical thinkers.

Vision:

All students are successful at each grade level by demonstrating mastery of state standards and district competencies with the goal of being college or career ready.

School Improvement Goals: 

Goal #1

Increase the percentage of students reading on or above grade level in 3rd grade from 54 % to 61 % as measured by the 2025 Spring MAP assessment.

Goal #2

Increase the percentage of students reading on or above grade level in 5th grade from 65% to 70% as measured by the 2025 Spring MAP assessment.

Goal #3

Increase the percentage of students in grade 5 scoring proficient and above on the 2025 Georgia Milestones Assessment in math from 14% (based on 2023 – 2024 ) to 24% in order to be on track to meet the 2026 PSO.
